'I'm trying to push the limits and beat the odds': James shares inspiring message after World Cup injury blow
Reece James picked up a knee injury in an away game against Milan. The right-back will be out for up to two months. It's unlikely he'll feature in the World Cup.
The 22-year-old does not give up and tries to take positives from the frustrating situation he's in.
"I'm currently right where I'm meant to be," the Chelsea player posted on Instagram. "Could be better, could be worse. That's life.
"Perception is a crazy thing, you can view it two ways. I always try to magnify the positives from a bad situation.
"Everyday is gonna be a fight, but I'm constantly trying to push the limits and beat the odds.
"Happy Friday, I hope you're all having an amazing week!"
