'I won't answer anymore': Ten Hag confirms Ronaldo's return but refuses to talk about recent situation
Cristiano Ronaldo will be part of the matchday squad against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League on Thursday, Erik ten Hag has confirmed.
The manager was asked about the Portuguese's situation at the club but responded with a short statement: "Cristiano will be in the squad tomorrow."
Pushed further on the issue, he added: "It [the recent situation] is not difficult but I think we set everything and we answered all the questions.
"So he was out for one game and now he is back in the squad as usual. I won't answer anymore. I think everything we covered last week.
"We have to focus on the game tomorrow. We have an important game because we want to be number one in the group so let's focus on that."
Ronaldo returned to first-team training at Manchester United on Tuesday after patching things up with Ten Hag following the Tottenham incident last week.
