'His 2 assists today are more important': Ancelotti on Vini's misses v Sevilla
It is difficult to rate Vinicius Junior's performance against Sevilla because, while providing two assists, he missed two big opportunities to score. However, Carlo Ancelotti doesn't see it as a big problem.
"I congratulated Vini because his 2 assists today are better than a goal. He must leave the match very happy," the Real Madrid coach said after the game.
"Vini’s level is very high, now he needs continuity. That's the only thing he needs, to maintain the level."
Vinicius has indeed had a good start to the season. So far, the 22-year-old has recorded 7 goals and 6 assists in 16 matches.
