Gabriel Martinelli reveals what Xhaka told Arsenal players in team huddle after Partey's stunner vs Tottenham

When asked about what Granit Xhaka told the Arsenal players after Thomas Partey’s opening goal in the 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, Gabriel Martinelli told The Times: “Right after our 1st goal, he [Xhaka] calls everybody into a huddle,asking us to stay calm, saying we will score more goals.

“That’s when you see how important he is to players. For young players like me and Bukayo, it’s very important.”

Xhaka played a major role in the win over Spurs, leading from the front in midfield and ensuring his side was on top of the game at all times.

He also scored a really clever goal to make it 3-1, solidifying the win and maintaining his impressive start to the new season.
