Erik ten Hag: ‘I won't comment on the referee's performance. Everyone has seen it’
Erik ten Hag has refused to make a remark on how he feels about the refereeing in Man United’s 0-0 draw against Newcastle United.
He said: “I don't have a comment on the referee's performance.”
Upon being asked if he was annoyed with the decisions, the Dutchman added: “As I said, I share that with them (officials). You can try (to ask me).
“Everyone has seen the game. It’s your job to judge the performance from the teams and from the refs not me, so I will not do it.”
This comes after fans were left infuriated by the refereeing, especially in the second half.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho were both seemingly denied penalties – with the latter’s one looking like a stonewall penalty.
