English FA 'fuming' at Chelsea for allowing James to stay in Milan after picking up injury
As per Daily Mail, The English FA was angered by Chelsea for allowing Reece James to stay back in Milan after picking up an injury against AC Milan.
Reece was allowed to stay back the day after the Champions League win to enjoy the day off with his teammates. The FA believe he should've been brought back to England for immediate treatment.
James flew back to England by an easyJet plane and without proper medical support. His leg was not in a brace but was given extra legroom on the flight.
After seeing the specialist in England, he's been ruled out for around 8 weeks, which means he could miss his shot at the World Cup in Qatar which starts next month.
Reece James is hoping to make his recovery within 6 weeks though, for which he would have to recover without surgery well before the World Cup, when the final squad is announced by Southgate.
