Courtois now 'a doubt' for upcoming El Clasico as he suffers relapse
Thibaut Courtois has not fully recovered yet and is 'a doubt' for the match against Barcelona on October 16, according to COPE's Miguel Angel Diaz.
Previously, it was said that the Real Madrid goalkeeper would recover in time for El Clasico. Relevo say that the Belgian has suffered a relapse.
Courtois is currently out with pain in his left leg, and the exact date of his return is difficult to predict.
In his absence, Andriy Lunin has been starting in goal. So far, the Ukrainian goalkeeper has conceded two goals in three games, keeping one clean sheet.
