Chelsea to let Kante go for free next summer for 2 reasons
According to French media outlet L'Equipe, Chelsea will allow N'Golo Kante to leave the club as a free agent next summer.
The Blues are reluctant to offer him a new deal due to the player's age and injury history.
Kante has just suffered another injury that is likely to rule him out for three months, meaning he'll also miss the World Cup.
The report adds that Chelsea want to sign two new midfielders. It's not clear whether that means that Jorginho won't be kept beyond the next summer either: his current deal also expires in 2023.
