Chelsea has begun contract negotiations with Mount.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea have begun talks with Mason Mount over a new contract.

The Blues approached the midfielder in the summer but understand that it would take time to sign a new deal.

Chelsea are optimistic an agreement would be found and Mase would stay at the club for a long time.

The 23-year-old's current contract with the Blues expires in 2024. He reportedly earns £4.6m — clearly not enough for a player of his calibre.
