Arsenal reportedly start talks with Edu over new contract
According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal have started talks over a new long-term contract for technical director Edu.
Since taking the job in 2019, the Brazilian has overseen several successful transfer campaigns that largely formed the spine of the side that is currently top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal want to secure Edu's services for the long term as there's a growing interest from at least two big European clubs.
At the same time, the 44-year-old is understood to be happy at Arsenal and open to committing to the project at the Emirates for years. There's no agreement on a new contract yet, though.
