Ancelotti shares opinion on Kroos future as midfielder reportedly considers early retirement
Toni Kroos's current deal at Real Madrid expires at the end of the season. The Merengues would like to extend his contract, but reports say that the German has doubts and considers retiring.
Asked to comment on the 32-year-old's future, here is what Carlo Ancelotti had to say.
"Kroos is very calm regarding his future, he will make a decision in January or February. I think he will continue to play for Madrid, but it is up to him,"
It has been claimed that Toni will base his decision on his role in the team and his physical condition.
The midfielder remains a key player for Madrid, having featured in 13 matches (11 starts) while providing three assists so far this term.
