6 Academy graduates in Chelsea squad right now -- Gallagher is latest to score

Chelsea have six of their Academy graduates in their first team right now.

Of the lot, only Armando Broja is the only player yet to score for the first team. You get the feeling his first goal is not too far away.

Recently, Conor Gallagher broke his duck with a wonder goal for Chelsea against Crystal Palace - it was good enough to fetch all three points in that game.

Academy graduates at Chelsea:

Reece James. The 22-year-old has been at Chelsea since the age of six.

Trevoh Chalobah. The defender has continued to impress when given a chance.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The midfielder cut his teeth at Chelsea winning lots of youth titles with age-grade teams.

Conor Gallagher. The midfielder forced his way into the England national team after a brilliant spell at Palace last season.

Armando Broja. The Albanian striker was so good at Southampton last season Chelsea didn't think of sending him on loan this term.

Mason Mount. Perhaps a future Chelsea captain. The midfielder has next to nothing to prove to anyone.

It must be noted that Chelsea have a host of their Academy graduates on loan elsewhere, like Callum Hudson-Odoi.
