2 worrying stats highlight Jadon Sancho's decline in form

Jadon Sancho has failed to make the most of the opportunities handed to him by Erik ten Hag this season.

The English winger was substituted at half-time vs Omonia, which led to a better second-half performance by Manchester United.

He has scored three goals from seven shots so far in 2022/23. With that, he ranks among the bottom one per cent of Premier League players in his position with an average of 0.74 shots per 90 minutes.

In terms of creativity, Sancho is far behind the likes of Fred, Diogo Dalot and even Cristiano Ronaldo. The 22-year-old winger has averaged merely 0.08 expected assists per 90 minutes across competitions.

Now, it's up to Sancho to justify his exorbitant price tag and work his way back into Ten Hag's plans.
