where Antony stands among most expensive Man United signings

Antony is officially a Manchester United player with the Red Devils reaching an agreement with Ajax after weeks of negotiations.

The 22-year-old Brazilian forward is set to cost the Red Devils a whopping £86 million with the Red Devils splashing the cash for Erik ten Hag.

Antony will thus become Man United's third most-expensive signing of all time, overtaking Harry Maguire who joined the club from Leicester City for £80 million.

The price tag doesn't appear to weigh down on the 22-year-old with the forward scoring the first goal in the 3–1 win against Arsenal last week on his official debut for the club.
