'We have to be honest': Nagelsmann opens up on beating Barca
"We have to be honest. We couldn't find our groove in the first half. We did better in the second half and we played faster," Julian Nagelsmann has told the media, per Barca Universal.
"Barca created more chances than us, but we scored the goals and were more effective. That is why we won," the German added.
"Lewandowski didn't score, and that is positive. But it was seen that he is dangerous. I greeted him, but I'm not his manager anymore. Xavi should speak about him, not me," Nagelsmann also said.
Bayern Munich had a great spell early in the second half in which they scored two quick goals. Barcelona failed to recover from this as they only had one goalscoring opportunity afterwards.
Bayern beat Barcelona 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.
