'We are all on one page': Ten Hag opens up on Cristiano Ronaldo conversation on deadline day
Speaking to the media about Cristiano Ronaldo's future, Erik ten Hag said: "We have spoken several times, yes. We are all on one page.
"From the start, we said we planned with him — it's your vision [he could leave], not my vision. We are happy with him, he's happy to be here.
"We want to make the season a success together. He knows what the demands are. He is a great player. He will fit in every system or every style."
Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes pushed to leave Manchester United in the summer but no Champions League clubs were interested in the 37-year-old.
The Portuguese, who has a year remaining on his Old Trafford contract, will have to accept a season in the Europa League before deciding his future.
