Todd Boehly's Premier league All-Star game idea to be revived - but with a twist
According to The Times, not all Premier League stakeholders found Todd Boehly's idea to hold an All-Star game ridiculous.
The Chelsea co-owner suggested holding such a game between the teams made from the players representing the clubs from the North and the South.
However, the idea is now set to be revived in a different shape. It's claimed that the Premier League XI might take on the All-Star teams from other big leagues, like Bundesliga, La Liga or Serie A.
An advantage of such a format would be the ability to hold those games around the world - which would mean an increased global audience.
