Todd Boehly's plan after Chelsea's failed sporting director appointment revealed
Chelsea will now try to keep things quiet in their search for a new sporting director, Fabrizio Romano reports.
"Chelsea want to keep things secret now so from a journalist point of view, it will not be easy. Having the Freund news public caused some problems I think," Romano claims
"Paul Mitchell is in the mix but many many candidates, Chelsea will try to keep it secret."
Mitchell is currently appointed as a sporting director at Monaco, having worked at Southampton, Tottenham and RB Leipzig.
Chelsea want to hire a new sporting director before January but failed in their pursuit of Red Bull Salzburg man Christoph Freund.
