Thomas Tuchel has broken silence on his sacking as Chelsea head coach. The German has published a statement via Twitter.
Darwin Nunez has come under fire after a relatively slow start to the season as he was suspended for three games after a stupid red card against Fulham.
Many rival fans, as well as some Liverpool supporters, feel spending €100m has been unjustified.
It was reported by Spanish paper El Pais that no one inside Liverpool understands why the club spent so much on the striker.
A Liverpool fan Mick Moran tweeted in response to such claims: "Darwin Núñez has played the equivalent of 2.6 games for Liverpool so far and has 2 goals and 1 assist.
"It’s getting to the point you could literally tweet anything and everyone will believe it."
The 23-year-old has made five appearances for the Reds. He has played a total of 235 minutes which amounts to 2.6 full-time games.
If you look at it this way, Darwin's goal contribution looks quite good.
