The player was going to leave Real Madrid for Real Betis. However, Ancelotti changed Ceballos' mind and the club opted to keep the player.

The Whites are now thinking of offering the midfielder a new contract. The current deal expires in July 2023.

Ancelotti assures Ceballos will have quite an important role at Real Madrid this season.
