OFFICIAL: Vinicius Jr receives Spanish passport, how it helps Real Madrid
Vinicius Junior is now officially a citizen of Spain, Real Madrid have confirmed.
It means that the club now have one non-EU slot available. Real Madrid may decide to register Vinicius Tobias as a first-team member, or wait until the January transfer window to sign a non-EU player.
It is worth a mention that Real Madrid plan to sign Jude Bellingham next summer – he would also occupy a non-EU slot.
As a reminder, Real Madrid did not buy Gabriel Jesus in the summer because he could not be registered in the first team.
Eder Militao and Rodrygo are also on their way to receiving Spanish passports, report Relevo.
