Mason Greenwood remains suspended at Manchester United after being accused of rape and assault by his girlfriend Harriet Robson earlier this year.
The 20-year-old, who was arrested in January and then released on bail, had the bail extended in June as the court considers charging him over the allegations.
The Englishman made a rare public appearance on August 7 when he was seen catching his parents' runaway dog outside his £3 million Cheshire house.
Greenwood is keeping a low profile these days but Twitter still opted to remove the verification on the player's personal account (a blue tick near his username).
The forward continues to be listed as a first-team player on Man United's official website, retaining his squad number and a description on his profile.
