Man United to strengthen 4 positions in 'next phase of rebuild' under Ten Hag

As per the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are already making plans for the 'next phase' of rebuilding the squad under Erik ten Hag.

The boss recently confirmed that the club are holding meetings to discuss a strategy for the winter transfer window.

The MEN understands United are eager to strengthen four key positions by signing a right-back, a midfielder and a forward.

A new long-term goalkeeper is also on the cards but that mostly depends on whether David De Gea extends his contract beyond 2023.

Dean Henderson is widely tipped to be next in line but again, the club will wait and see how he fares on his Nottingham Forest loan.

United signed six new players over the summer but clearly, we need more depth to go all the way and win trophies.
