Man United announce net loss of £115.5m while debt grows — Glazers still receive over £30m in dividends
Manchester United held an official investor call on Thursday, speaking about the financial state of the club.
Chief executive Richard Arnold has confirmed that the Red Devils had a net loss of £115.5 million for the 2021/22 season.
The club's debt also went up from £419.5 million last year to £514.9 million in 2022 — an alarming increase of more than 22 per cent.
And yet, Man United still paid a total of £33.6 million out in dividends — mostly to the Glazer family — in the financial year up to June 30, 2022.
