Liverpool prepared to splash €150m on Rolls Royce midfielder in January

Liverpool are ready to table a bid worth €150m for Real Madrid's Federico Valverde in January, according to Defensa Central.

It's highly unlikely that Real Madrid will let Valverde go in January if ever, considering their value for the player.

The Uruguay midfielder has already registered four goals and two assists in just 9 games - with such blistering form, Valverde is considered a Rolls Royce midfielder who would fit like a sock at Liverpool.

With Naby Keita succumbing to another long-term injury and Thiago barely fit nowadays, another midfielder is not a luxury for Jurgen Klopp's team.

It remains to be seen what happens in January.
