Liverpool 'leading race' for Jude Bellingham move in 2023 - The Telegraph

Liverpool are still expected to lead the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham despite multiple reports of Real Madrid's interest.

According to The Telegraph, the Reds should make their move as soon as they receive an indication that the 19-year-old is available.

That was not the case this summer, although Liverpool were rumoured to have approached Dortmund nevertheless.

Next year, the England international could be allowed to leave the German side for as much as €120m, almost €40m more than Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk, their most expensive transfer ever.

Still, the understanding is that Liverpool will not be scared off by this price tag as Bellingham is their priority long-term target.
