'It's important to step out of your comfort zone': Folarin Balogun opens up on leaving Arsenal
Speaking to Amazon Prime Video Sport, Folarin Balogun said: "I've spent my whole career in London so when I came here I knew it was going to be different.
"I didn't know the [French] language and I'm still trying to learn — but for me it's important to step out of your comfort zone.
"You have to challenge yourself. This is the reason I'm here and hopefully this decision will be good for me and pay off."
Balogun is spending the 2022/23 season on loan Stade de Reims with Mikel Arteta opting to let the young striker leave Arsenal to play first-team football.
The 21-year-old has hit the ground running after arriving in France, scoring five goals in six Ligue 1 games and winning the Young Player of the Month award.
