'It changes things': Arteta hints at transfer activity after Elneny injury

"Bad news. Looks like he’s going to be out for quite some time," Mikel Arteta said about Mohamed Elneny who missed the Aston Villa game.

"It changes things because Thomas is also injured. We are looking at options in the market and to see if the right opportunity comes up."

Arsenal have already been quite active on the transfer market, signing five players including Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira and Olexandr Zinchenko.

However, it looks like they are going to look for a midfielder in the coming hours before the window closes on Thursday at 23:00 BST.
