Ibrahima Konate back in full training With Liverpool- The Athletic
Ibrahima Konate has returned to full training with Liverpool, The Athletic's James Pearce reports.
The French centre-back was sidelined for two months with a muscle injury. He is yet to feature for the Reds in an official game this season.
The 23-year-old has completed his rehab programme during the international break, but the decision is yet to be made whether he's fit enough to face Brighton on Saturday.
With Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez all fit, there's no immediate pressure to get Konate involved before he's fully prepared to return to the pitch.
In any case, Liverpool will play nine games in October which means that Konate will undoubtedly play his role in the team in the weeks to come.
