'I don’t think he’s good enough to play for Chelsea': Carragher claims Pulisic has no future at the club
Jamie Carragher fired a warning to Christian Pulisic, declaring that if he doesn't step up, he may have no future left in this Chelsea squad.
"I don’t think he’s good enough to play for Chelsea. I think he’s been there for a few years now. I think he’s had enough opportunities.
"I don’t think a new manager is going to completely rejuvenate him or he’s going to play week in, week out now Tuchel’s gone. I just think he’s a squad player for Chelsea no matter who the manager is.
"To play week in, week out and make a difference for one of the best teams in the world, he’s not good enough for that right now.
"I’ve said before, I think he’s got great ability. Some of those things I’ve seen him do for Chelsea, the goals he’s scored. But it’s not consistent enough and he gets injured quite a lot.
"I just don’t ever see him displacing a Mason Mount or a Kai Havertz or players in those positions – Raheem Sterling is there now, [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang. I just don’t see it."
