'He proved me right': Ancelotti pleased with Hazard outing v Celtic
"I thought it was the perfect game for Eden Hazard and he proved me right. I didn't expect him to have a game this good, but he's always motivated in training sessions. He's very happy, I hope he continues like that," Carlo Ancelotti said after the Celtic game.
"Hazard played well, He scored one goal and created another. I am pleased with his performance."
The Belgian replaced an injured Karim Benzema around the half-hour mark. Hazard had to play in the false nine position and actually delivered a solid performance.
Ancelotti promised to give Eden more playing time this season. Let's see if the 31-year-old starts in Real Madrid's next game, with Benzema now in doubt.
