Gabby Agbonlahor: Gabriel Jesus was a better summer signing than Erling Haaland

Speaking about the best signing of the summer transfer window, ex-Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor told Talksport: “Best signing is Gabriel Jesus for me. Haaland has been outstanding, but City always did well without Haaland and scored ridiculous goals without Haaland

“Gabriel Jesus has turned Arsenal into something else. They have got a striker now who doesn’t labour when he is pressing defenders.”

Jesus has helped transform Arsenal’s attack and make them a much more efficient, energetic attacking force. He’s scored 4 goals in the Premier League so far in 7 games and helped the Gunners soar to the top of the table.

Erling Haaland, however, is operating at another level altogether for Manchester City. He’s scored 11 goals in just 7 Premier League games and already looks to be running away in the Golden Boot race.
