'Combination of football and human values': Potter outlines his approach as manager
"It's about creating a team that competes, has respect for each other and works together.
It's a combination of football and human values," Graham Potter said in an interview with Chelsea's media team.
"You have to understand that players are human beings first and the key thing is to understand them, what motivates them and what they like as people and then to try to come to a common ground, build a relationship, trust, honesty.
"My starting point would always be the person first.
"In order to get better, you have to take a little step outside of what's comfortable. Our job as coaches is to provide an opportunity for players to do that."
Last season, Potter took Brighton to their best-ever finish top-flight in history as the Seagulls finished ninth.
The Chelsea job is a massive step up for the Englishman and hopefully he'll deliver!
