Chelsea lavish £34m changing manager -- net spend in 2022 approaches £300m

Chelsea have spent £34m sacking Thomas Tuchel and hiring Graham Potter, per the Athletic.

The Blues paid £21m as compensation for taking Potter six games into the 2022/23 season.

Chelsea will pay Tuchel a staggering £13 as compensation for sacking him before the end of his contract.

Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli - £34m

Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa - £16m

Gabriel Slonina from Chicago - £8.18m

Denis Zakaria loan from Juventus - £2.7m

So far, Chelsea have spent £288 in the market this summer.
