Arsenal Women vs Tottenham Hotspur WFC clash sells 52,000 tickets - sets WSL record
Arsenal Women have made Women's Super League history by selling a whopping 52,000 tickets for their game against Tottenham Hotspur WFC on Saturday.
This would mark the largest attendance in a WSL game in its history and the most in a home game for the Gunners’ ladies side.
Incidentally, the previous attendance record of around 38,362 was also set in a female North London derby in 2019, which Arsenal won 2-0.
Arsenal Women have won all four meetings so far against Spurs Women and have a 100% win rate against them.
Arsenal are currently on top of the Women Super League table after only one game-week of matches.
The Gunners' clash against Spurs WFC is set to kick-off at 13:30 BST.
