As per Sky Sports, West Ham United's latest bid of around £33 million for Lucas Paqueta has been rejected by Lyon.
The attacking midfielder, 24, who has been a long-time Arsenal target, appears to be a hot target for several clubs.
This gives Arsenal an edge to swoop in and make a move but we'd need to submit a higher bid than West Ham's to tempt Lyon.
Furthermore, the Gunners are at the summit of the Premier League table right now which could further attract Paqueta to join.
