'They know what I want': Bernardo Silva breaks silence on Barca rumours

"I've always said that I'm happy here, but I have no idea what's going to happen. My relationship with the club is very honest. I've been open with them and they know what I want," Bernardo Silva has said, as quoted by ESPN.

"If I stay, I'm very happy, and I will always respect this club and give all my best. If not, it's football and we'll just see what happens.

"Manchester City is a big club and they don't want players who aren't happy. They always tell us that if you’re not happy, you can leave."

As per reports, Barcelona will try to sign Bernado this summer even if Frenkie de Jong doesn't leave. The Portuguese is open to a move to Camp Nou since it was his dream as a child.

The midfielder would cost the Catalans up to €60m. The saga could drag on until the end of the transfer window, though, as Barca are still working on registering their new signings.
