Ronaldo looking increasingly likely to be 'forced to stay' at Man United
Cristiano Ronaldo is not optimistic about getting a summer transfer move and could be forced to stay at Man United this season, claims the Telegraph.
The Red Devils continue to back down from their stance that he is not for sale at all.
Ronaldo has been rejected by the likes of Chelsea, PSG and Atletico Madrid this summer – while he isn’t considering a return to Sporting Lisbon.
The 37-year-old is now set to start the new season with the Red Devils, but is unlikely to start against Brighton on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag already revealed that Cristiano is way behind the current squad in terms of fitness and match sharpness, with Anthony Martial likely to start over him in the Premier League opener.
