According to Relevo's reliable Albert Roge (5 stars), Riqui Puig has reached an 'agreement in principle' with Los Angeles Galaxy over a transfer.
Barcelona are now in negotiations with the American club. The deal needs to be closed before August 4, the day the transfer window shuts in the MLS.
Barca want to have a buyback option on Riqui or keep a percentage of a future sale. At the moment, it's unclear whether LA Galaxy will pay a fee for the 22-year-old.
Puig is one of the players that Xavi doesn't count on for the season.
