Real Madrid announced the transfer of Miguel Gutierrez to Girona. The left-back has signed a contract until 2027 with the Catalan side.
The clubs did not reveal the terms of the agreement. As per reports, though, Madrid will continue owning 50% of the rights on the player and will have a buyback option.
Miguel made his debut for Real Madrid in 2021 and made a total of 10 appearances for the senior side.
Madrid reportedly decided to sell the left-back after Carlo Ancelotti deemed him not good enough for the first team. Specifically, the coach claimed that the 21-year-old had to improve defensively.
