Mauricio Pochettino Critisises Paris Saint-Germain For 'Champions League Obsession'
Speaking to Infobae, Mauricio Pochettino said: "Everything at Paris Saint-Germain is focused on the Champions League. Sometimes that can be a little distracting.
"Those demands seem to only exist in the build-up to European games and other competitions are taken for granted due to PSG's superiority.
"The Champions League is the obsession and anything short of winning the Champions League is equivalent to failure."
Pochettino was sacked by PSG's Qatari owners earlier this summer despite comfortably leading the team to the 2021/22 Ligue 1 title.
The Argentine's fate was sealed months ago but the oil-rich side were eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid in the Round of 16.
