As per Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic, Man United have ended their pursuit of Bologna attacker Marko Arnautovic.
Bologna rejected an initial bid of £6.8 million from United but a fresh bid was expected to be made.
Supporters wrote e-mails to Richard Arnold lambasting them for making a move for a player accused of racism multiple times.
One was from Michael Damevski, a North Macedonian who questioned United's anti-racist stand due to their interest in Arnautovic.
Several other United fans wrote to Arnold as well, pressing the same issue. Due to these factors, United will not be making a second bid for the player.
I emailed [email protected] to ask him why the club were trying to sign someone they know to be racist. Maybe you could do the same.
