'Look at him with Real Madrid': Haaland reveals how Benzema impacts his progress

"I don't know what will happen, but it must always be about learning, about developing. You can never stop looking for new ways to become better," Erling Haaland has told FourFourTwo. 

"Look at Karim Benzema at Real Madrid. He's 34 now, and suddenly he's developed into an even better player over the last couple of years – that's insanely good. I want to always do that," the superstar Norwegian added.

Haaland is choosing his role models wisely. It is interesting that, just like Benzema, the striker has become better at assisting goals in recent years.

It is believed that Real Madrid could go for the 22-year-old in 2024.
