Liverpool Interested In Leipzig Midfielder Laimer

According to German media outlet Kicker, Liverpool have added another midfielder to their shortlist as they are interested in RB Leipzig player Konrad Laimer.

The 25-year-old Austria international should be available for around ₤25m as his contract with Leipzig expires next year.

Bayern Munich are known to be interested in Laimer, but they reportedly prefer signing him on a free deal in less than 12 months.

Laimer has had a fair share of injury troubles in recent years: in August 2020, he sustained an ankle fracture that sidelined him for almost an entire campaign. This year, however, he's only missed two games with an injury.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are linked with a flurry of midfielders after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that they will try to sign one in the coming days.
