L'Equipe: Ten Hag sees Adrien Rabiot as direct replacement for Scott McTominay
Manchester United's transfer interest in Adrien Rabiot is coming directly from Erik ten Hag, according to L'Equipe.
The Manchester United manager has personally told the Frenchman that he sees him as a guaranteed starter at Old Trafford.
Should the transfer go through, the 27-year-old will take Scott McTominay's place in the team due to Ten Hag's frustration with the midfielder.
Apparently, the Dutchman thinks that the Red Devils 'need a different player' than McTominay to do what the manager wants in that midfield position going forward.
