Chelsea are reportedly interested in Wesley Fofana as the last defensive signing of the summer. However, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that the centre-back is not for sale.
“Wesley Fofana and James Maddison are not for sale. These are very important players to us,” Rodgers told The Times.
“We’re in a situation where we need to move some players out but that doesn't mean getting rid of anyone, our best assets.”
Leicester reportedly want a world-record fee of over £80m for Fofana. Multiple sources such as Nizaar Kinsella have said that this signing is going to be very difficult for Chelsea - but not impossible.
