Darwin Nunez was sent off in Liverpool's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace for head-butting Joachim Anderson.
He has now tweeted about the incident, apologizing to Liverpool fans for his error while also making a promise.

He also added: "I am aware of the ugly attitude I had. I'm here to learn from my mistakes and it won't happen again."
Speaking about the incident after the game, Jurgen told the media: "Nunez knows [he let team down]. I’ll talk to him. That’s not the reaction we want to see.
"He knows he will be challenged in this way, centre-halves will do that, but it is not a reaction we want."
