'I'm convinced': Erik ten Hag promises Man United will have 'better squad' before transfer window closes

During his recent press conference, Erik ten Hag was asked if Manchester United fans can hope to see a better squad on September 1.

The boss replied: "We have to. I am convinced we will have."

Ten Hag was then asked if he's on the 'same page' as the board as far as transfers are concerned.

To that, the Dutchman replied: "Yes. I'm happy, I think we're cooperating really well.

"I cannot tell about any individuals, I cannot talk about players under contract at other clubs."

The summer transfer window slams shut on August 31, leaving just about two weeks for United to conclude our business.

After the opening day defeat to Brighton, it's become clear as day that United cannot hope for success without the right signings.
