'I really feel loved here': Bukayo Saka hints new Arsenal contract is close

Speaking to the Mirror about the likelihood of new Arsenal contact, Bukayo Saka said: "Yes, I share the manager's confidence. I feel like he's always there for me.

"Mikel Arteta knows when to speak to me, it's not too much and not too little. The different bits of advice he gives me are special and it makes such a difference.

"I really feel at home here. I really feel the love from my team-mates, my coaches and the fans as well. I really feel loved here. We're ­loving every bit of it."

Speaking to the media last week, Arteta stated that a new contract for Saka was basically a done deal and there was a matter of 'putting it on a piece of paper'.

The 20-year-old's current deal at the Emirates expires in the summer of 2024 and tying the forward down has been Arsenal's priority for over a year now.
