'I prefer Arnautovic': Man United fans react to Marcus Rashford's yet another poor game
Manchester United's 2022/23 Premier League campaign got underway with a disappointing 2–1 defeat against Brighton.
Marcus Rashford, who started the game at Old Trafford, was back to his 2021/22 self despite enjoying a decent pre-season under Erik ten Hag.
And some Man United supporters believe that the 24-year-old simply doesn't have what it takes to play at the top level while also criticising his drive and motivation.
Relevated (via RedCafe): "I actually prefer Marko Arnautovic."
Erics_Collar: "Where is there a place for him? Can't dribble, can't beat a man and not a great crossed so not good enough for the wing. Dreadful finisher and not strong, so not good enough for up top."
oleoleoleole: "Sorry guys, afraid he's done. The excuses have run out. He's just not a very good footballer and nor does he seem to care that much. If we were serious about this rebuild, we would sell him this summer as a signal we mean business."
jesperjaap: "He will do nothing of any note consistently this season. Should have been sold in the summer for decent money."
Castia: "For the love of god do not renew his contract. Been absolutely shocking for 18 months and is getting worse. His head will dip even further when he’s left out of the England squad for the World Cup."
Godfather: "Must break a record for getting picked constantly albeit playing like s**t all the time."
